Located halfway between the Atlantic and the Gulf you probably wouldn't think of Orlando as a place to go snorkeling but it is a good base for visiting eight freshwater springs which are located within 60 miles of northern Orlando.  They can be reached either by heading east on I-4 or north on I-27.  So far, I've only been to Rock Springs although I hope to go back some day and visit all of them.
