Site Location

City: Palm Beach Shores State: FL Country: USA

Landmark: Pump Station Location:

Directions: From the strip mall walk south to the inlet.  There is a sidewalk that runs the length of the channel.  Once you reach it follow towards the pump station.  The easiest way to get to the channel is to enter from the beach by the pump station and swim around the point.  When the tide is going in, you can drift up the channel towards Lake Worth.  if the water is too rough to enter from the beach by the pump station or if you find a shark blocking your way, you can climb over the rocks.  Be careful, they're slippery.  Once you're done snorkeling, you will have to exit over the rocks.  The best time to snorkel here is an hour before low tide.  Watch for people fishing off the rocks and be careful of the current.
