Sand |
Visibility:
50 to 75 ft. |
Depth: 4 to 30 ft.
|
Date: 2002
|
| Attractions:
Tourist attraction: Swim with the Manatees; Manatees are very gentle and very plentiful here, especially in the winter; 3 or 4 dive shops will take you out on a pontoon boat; or you can rent a small boat from the Plantation Inn. If you can find Three Sisters Springs, it is an extra bonus; a beautiful swim with over 100 ft visability, ask locals in the water to direct you.
|
| Hazards: On holidays the Kings Bay can get very crowded and the water is not as clear. If you can reach the bottom & it is clear enough, there is an interesting carving to see.
