Attractions:
Beautiful setting. Snorkel & tubing gear rented on site. Wooden
walk-way down to entry. Deck & steps to enter. Swim upstream to
top of spring. (Experienced divers go down into spring crevice (60'+).
Drift downstream with current. Swimming area at end with metal platform
& steps for easy exiting. Saw 2 manatees in 2002, saw large otter
family in 2003. Worth the trip. Great for family wanting to stay together.
Picnic shelter, shower, & lockers. Has parking lot and restroom
facilities.

Warning sign posted for alligators although state park personnel informed
us only 1 has been spotted in numerous years; gators prefer warmer
water downstream. |
