| Hazards: cost of staying at Anse Chastenet. (tho it is lovely) we stayed around the corner at Still Beach Resort and loved it. Next door to Still is the Hummingbird. from this downtown Soufriere beach you can walk or drive (at your own risk) the rugged 1.5 miles to Anse Chastenet. road there very narrow and rough.. contract with one of the locals to take you around the point in his little motorboat (a beautiful ride). take your own picnic and drinks if you don't have an unlimited budget as the Anse Chastenet is quite pricey.

| Directions: coming into Soufriere on Hy. 25 take first right before getting into main part of town. this takes you past Hummingbird's, up hill past Still Beach Resort and on up and over hill to Anse Chastenet. gravel road; narrow.
